Sizes and printing formats
2 × 3 inch mini cards: nine per US Letter sheet.
4 × 6 inch cards: two per US Letter sheet.
4 × 6 inch individual cards: one per sheet of 4 × 6 inch paper.
US Letter paper measures 8.5 × 11 inches. All three formats are included, so you can choose what works for your printer and Christmas countdown.

Are these physical cards or a digital download?
These Christmas activity cards are a digital download that you print yourself. No physical product is shipped. You can print the PDFs at home or take them to your preferred print shop.
Can I use these cards as Advent calendar fillers?
Yes! Choose 24 activities for a family Advent countdown and place them in envelopes or calendar pockets. The mini cards measure 2 × 3 inches, so check your calendar’s pocket size before printing. You can also clip the cards to string to make a Christmas countdown garland.

Can I add my own Christmas activities?
Yes. Use the six blank cards to write in your own ideas after printing, or personalize the blank templates in Canva first. Canva links are included for all three print layouts. Editing applies to the blank templates; the 30 pre-written cards are ready-to-print PDFs.
Do I need Canva to use the cards?
You do not need Canva to print the supplied PDFs or fill in the blank cards by hand. A Canva account is needed only if you want to add your wording digitally using the included blank-card templates.
What paper and printer settings should I use?
White matte cardstock gives the cards a sturdier finish. Print at 100%/actual size with “Fit to page” turned off, using the paper size that matches your chosen layout. For edge-to-edge colour on individual 4 × 6 inch cards, use a printer that supports borderless printing. Find our picks for paper and tools here!
Do I have to print the patterned backs?
No. The patterned back is optional, and the cards can be printed single-sided. If you want double-sided cards, follow the included guide to print the matching pattern on the reverse before cutting.
Do we need to do one activity every day?
No. You can use these family Christmas countdown cards daily, choose a few weekend activities or pick a card whenever it suits your schedule. Add your own traditions with the blank cards and choose activities that fit your children’s ages, interests and your family’s plans.
