These Terms of Service apply to purchases from and use of curatedforyou.ca, operated by Curated For You Gifts (“we,” “us” or “our”), based in Nova Scotia, Canada.

By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms and the policies linked below.

Orders and payments

Please review your order, contact information, shipping address and any personalization details before completing checkout.

Prices, available payment methods and applicable shipping charges and taxes are displayed at checkout. Where currency conversion is available, review the currency shown before submitting payment.

If we cannot fulfill an order, we will contact you and refund any payment collected for the items we cannot supply. If a pricing or listing error affects your order, we will contact you to resolve it before proceeding.

Product information

We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, and handmade products may have minor variations in printing, cutting or assembly.

These variations do not limit your rights if a product is faulty or materially different from its description.

Please check each listing for dimensions, contents, available options and whether you are purchasing a physical product or a digital download. Props, gift cards, cash and other styling items shown in photos are not included unless the listing expressly states otherwise.

Personalized products

Personalization is available only where explicitly offered in the product listing.

You are responsible for checking the spelling, names and other details you submit. We use those details to prepare your order. If you notice an error, contact us promptly. Changes may not be possible once production has started.

If we make an error in producing your personalization, please contact us so we can make it right.

Personalized products are subject to the exclusions in our Returns & Refunds Policy, without limiting applicable consumer rights.

Digital downloads and permitted use

Digital products are delivered electronically. No physical item is shipped.

Purchasing a digital product gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it:

• For your own personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing copies for personal gifts.

• Within your own classroom, including printing copies for your students’ classroom activities.

You may not:

• Resell or redistribute the digital files, templates or access links.

• Sell printed copies or products made from our designs.

• Share files with other teachers, classrooms, schools or organisations. Each additional user must purchase their own licence.

• Upload files to public websites, shared resource libraries or publicly accessible folders.

• Use our designs for commercial purposes or claim them as your own.

Editing a template where the listing allows it does not change these licence restrictions.

Copyright and ownership of our designs remain with Curated For You Gifts or the relevant rights holders. If you need permission for a use not covered here, contact hello@curatedforyou.ca before using the files.

Accessing and printing digital products

Please review the product description for file formats, printing sizes, editing options and any software or account requirements before purchasing.

Print colours and results may vary depending on your printer, settings, ink and paper.

If you receive an incorrect or faulty file, or have difficulty accessing your purchase, contact us so we can help. Digital purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law.

Shipping and pickup

Processing times, delivery estimates, shipping rates, tracking, US duties and local pickup information are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly stated. If your order is delayed, missing or damaged, please contact us so we can investigate and help resolve it.

Returns, refunds and cancellations

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains eligibility, the 10-day return-request window, prepaid shipping for approved returns and applicable exclusions.

To request a cancellation, email hello@curatedforyou.ca as soon as possible. Cancellation may not be possible once an order has shipped, production has begun on a personalized item or digital files have been delivered. This does not affect any cancellation rights provided by law.

Website content

Our original designs, product photographs, text and other website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as permitted by law or the digital-product licence above, you may not reproduce, sell or distribute our content without permission.

You must not use our website for fraud, unlawful activity or actions that interfere with its security or operation.

Third-party services and links

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may link to third-party services, including payment providers, Canva and other sales platforms.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Please review any requirements identified in a product listing before purchasing.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.

Consumer rights and applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products, services or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted here with an updated date.

Changes will apply prospectively and will not remove rights attached to purchases already made.
